March is here, and with it warmer weather. Let’s get out in it! To help make this a reality, we are going to talk about transportation, and how to access everything from rail systems to scooters, and beyond!
Access to transportation reduces barriers to employment, educational opportunities, health care, and child care, which can lead to economic success, a sense of power and autonomy, and feelings of belonging.
lack of transit access can limit physical mobility as well as economic mobility, which can contribute to income inequality.
Transportation can feel like the center of the world. It is the glue of our daily lives. When it goes well, we don’t see it. When it goes wrong, it negatively colors our day, makes us feel angry and curtails our
possibilities.
Sounds serious right? Luckily, in Utah, we have a variety of options for our residents to access free or low-cost public transportation. We will also look at resources that will help you purchase a vehicle at a manageable rate.
